You may have begun to see pay-what-you-can performances at some theatres where you can pay any amount for a certain performance date. We’re taking that a step further by having pay-what-you-can for EVERY performance!
Theatre has become a luxury for most people that deters the everyday person from going to see much, if any, theatre. We want you to be able to see a show whether you have $1 in your pocket or $100!
Why should I pay more than $1?
Every cent makes you an investor in this company’s productions. The level of quality of shows and the frequency of shows depends upon having a cooperative theatre environment. Theatre does not function in a vacuum. For a live theatrical event to have the most impact, it needs everyone to be involved. The company organizes the show, the artists create the show, and the audience energizes the show. If any one of these areas are lacking, If you like what we’re doing and want it to succeed and flourish we need you to pay as much as you can so that we can reinvest that money into future productions. The more we have the more you get!
What exactly do I get?
At the lowest level you get one general admission ticket for each ticket bought. Money that is paid beyond the initial ticket price of $1 is counted as a tax-deductible donation via our fiscal sponsorship through Fractured Atlas, so you can deduct that amount from your taxes (a great Christmas gift for anyone!) You also get access to any special talks, lectures, or public get-togethers that we have.
Can I get reserved seats?
Reserved seating will be available on a limited basis via our fundraiser and membership opportunities.
Can I have some more?
When we do fundraisers you have an opportunity to get swag for your donation as well as tickets.
Where do I get tickets and when will they be available?
General admission tickets will go on sale on November 28th. They will be available for purchase online and via phone prior to the production and in-person an hour prior to each performance. Follow our blog for news on fundraiser and membership events where you can get your tickets in advance.
